The Dining Area is located on the ground floor of the main building. It features an oversized solid teak wood dining table (325 x 110 cm) with seating for up to 10 people. The table is towered by three large brass dome lamps in the style of Java's Borobodur temple. This room is particularly nice for elegant dinners with aperitifs served in the Living Room and after-dinner sweets & drinks taken in the adjoining Colonial Lounge overlooking the lotus ponds.
At the center of the Guest Kitchen is the 3-meter-long cantilevered breakfast bar which is flanked by a Chinese-inspired country home kitchen armoire. The breakfast bar features concealed power outlets to juice up your electronic gadgets, making this a perfect "tech" work place, while enjoying coffee or tea prepared by a member of the Villa Bambuu service team.
