Getting Around
Our villa team will help you make all the necessary arrangements for transportation and touring. Car rentals are very affordable and can be customized to meet your specific requirements.
Airport transfers
We will pick you up from Denpasar airport on your arrival day and take you back upon departure. This service is complimentary (for up to 2 vehicles each way) if you are staying with us for 5 nights or longer. Otherwise there is a nominal fee of USD 30 per vehicle and trip (up to 4 people per car). Should you need pick up/drop off for a different location, please let us know (depending on distance, there may be a small extra charge).
Car rental with driver
Most Villa Bambuu guests rent a car with driver for the duration of their stay. This gives them maximum flexibility and is very affordable. Whether a quick shopping trip, full day excursion, or short hop to a restaurant your car is waiting for you. Typical rental costs (Toyota Avanza/Innova) are about USD 40 per day, USD 250 per week, or USD 800-900 per month. We are pleased to make the necessary arrangements ahead of your arrival or during your stay.
Taxi service
Taxi service from the villa is available around the clock. Please book ideally 1 hour in advance, though requests with shorter notice time are often possible. Our villa staff will provide you with the details. The taxi can either wait for you for your return trip to the villa (recommended for more remote destinations) or you can take another taxi for your back leg. Villa Bambuu is easy to find for taxi drivers.
Motorbike rental
Bali is a motorbike island. It can be a truly fun way to explore the backroad or for short hops to the beach or nearby restaurants. Most bikes are 125 cc Vespa-style scooters for up to 2 passengers. Typical rental costs are about USD 5 per day, USD 30 per week, or USD 100-120 per month. We are pleased to make the necessary arrangements ahead of your arrival or during your stay. Riding a bike requires you to have valid motorbike license and wear a helmet (which is provided by all rental companies or bring your own)
Per pedes (aka on-foot)
Several small shops, neighborhood restaurants, and wellness places are within 10 minute walking distance. Echo Beach with its many restaurants can be reached down a quiet access road (JL Padang Linjong) within 20 minutes. From here you can take a 60-90 minute beach hike (best during sunset) to some of Seminyak's hippest places such as Mozaic, Potato Head, the W Hotel, or KuDeTa.
